ノースウェスタン大学が教授を公募

Northwestern University Henry and Leigh Bienen School of Musicが、2012年9月からのサクソフォン科のProfessorとAssistant Professorを募集している。Northwestern University Bienen School of Musicのサクソフォン科教授と言えば、かの有名なフレデリック・ヘムケ Frederick Hemke氏が1962年より教授職を務めていたはずだが、ついに交代するということだろうか。

いったい誰になるのか、興味津々である。他の大学からステップアップを目指して移籍、ということもあるのだろうか。それにしても、Qualifications:Requiredの最後の一文が面白い。

だということだ。まあ、確かに言われてみればPreferredに書かれている、Proven record of successful teaching in a School or Conservatory of Music within a university; doctoral degree.などよりも重要なことなのかもしれないな。
